Our Complete Transmission Service Includes:

• removing and examining the sump or pan (where possible)
• replacing or cleaning the screen or filter
• cleaning the pan
• reinstalling the pan with a new pan gasket
• pumping out the rest of the old fluid and replacing it with new, high quality ATF
• adding a friction modifier or additive package (model specific)

New fluid restores the holding power between the clutches, reducing slip and heat production.
At the same time, flushing the old fluid washes away tiny particles of clutch material and metal shavings. Those particles clog passages and wedge between moving parts, causing wear throughout the transmission. Changing the fluid eliminates those particles and the wear they cause.

The net result of changing the fluid is to provide better lubrication, improved the holding ability of the friction components, and reduced heat. So your transmission works better for years longer, which means you’re less likely to face a major transmission repair.

And, where possible, adding an external filter to the cooler line to remove any dirt particles that make it past the internal filter.

Brake Fluid Flushes
Brake fluid absorbs water from the air over time, causing the brake system to become less effective and the fluid to become corrosive and possibly damaging the braking system. It is important to have a brake fluid flush regularly. Talk to our technicians when it’s time for a brake fluid flush.

Anti-Lock Brake System
Anti-lock Brake Systems (ABS) ensure that the wheels don’t stop rotating during braking, preventing the car from skidding and offering greater control. If your ABS light comes on, Call us at 856.728.2000 and we will be happy set up an appointment to diagnose and fix your breaking problems.

Caliper Replacement
The brake caliper houses your brake pads and fits around the rotor like a clamp, pressing the pads against the rotor when you brake. A brake caliber problem could cause uneven braking, making your car have uneven braking, and can also cause your vehicle to slide out of control in bad weather conditions, you should ask us to look at this as soon as possible.

Brake Pad & Shoe Replacement
Your brake pad problems is usually identified by squealing brakes. If your brake pads deteriorate completely, you’ll hear the grinding sound of metal-on-metal when braking. But don’t wait for that ugly sound to worsen to the point you need to have the rotors or drums resurfaced. Do it early to save money and be a bit safer.

Resurface Rotors
Rotors are supposed to outlive your brake pads. But excessive uneven wear, the appearance of hard spots and/or heat damage (cracking, glazing and discoloration) can make good rotors go bad.  When it comes to your disc brake system, if maintained at proper intervals, resurfacing is an option rather than replacement. Resurfacing brings the rotor back to a “like-new” condition, reducing squealing and wobbling. A-Jacks Repair will give your rotors a thorough inspection and recommend your best course of action.

Leaking Hose:
A leaking brake hose may have serious consequences. While you can easily add brake fluid to the master cylinder’s reservoir, the leak may cause air to build up in the brake line. This buildup can cause the entire brake system, to fail.

Crushed Hose:
A crushed brake hose can cause two different problems. The crushed hose may restrict fluid flow and cause the brake served by the hose to respond slowly or it may also hold pressure on the brake after the driver has released the pedal.

Ballooning Hose:
A ballooning brake hose expands when the driver applies the brakes. Ballooning causes the brake fluid system to use some of its pressure to push out the brake hose, preventing that pressure from traveling to the brake and in turn causing the brake pedal to feel soft and reducing braking effectiveness.
